Background

On this page I will discuss my reading background.

I am a big library fan. Growing up I was lucky that my mom took my siblings and me to the library frequently and I loved choosing a stack of books to take home. When I was a teenager, I was able to drive myself to the library. I own many books but I still rely on the library for most of the books I read.

As for what I like to read, I gravitate toward nonfiction (books about travel, tech, memoirs, New York City, learning, cooking, and other personal interests) and literary fiction.
